About the Role

We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join the Product Marketing team. This role will be principally responsible for supporting marketing activities aimed at current customers and partners to drive deeper product engagement and brand fanaticism. This position directly supports sales and marketing goals by increasing customer advocacy (including referrals, testimonials, references, etc.), identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and increasing loyalty and retention. This position requires exceptional storytelling, creativity, passion, and communication skills to engage and motivate customer / partner advocates.

Success will be measured by account revenue growth and engagement with content across multiple channels. The position will report to the CMO and eventually reports to the Director of Product Marketing.  The Customer Marketing Manager will interface closely with and support Corporate Sales, Customer Account Management, Partnerships, Restaurant Operations, Demand Gen, and Brand Marketing /PR. 

The Customer Marketing Manager is a total go-getter. S/he is entrepreneurial, creative, and has exceptional interpersonal skills. A love of writing and producing content will serve this person well.  S/he is independent (no micromanagement needed), extremely reliable with deadlines, and represents Sharebite well to customers and partners. 

The Customer and Community Marketing Manager will: 

  • Develop a multi-channel customer & partner marketing strategy including advocacy, retention and expansion.
  • Help elevate the voice of the customer. Continually nurture new customer advocates and funnel customer feedback and insights to cross functional peers.
  • Produce case studies, customer stories, video testimonials for web, social, and to support sales enablement. 
  • Work with the Customer Success team to develop programs that increase customer engagement with food benefits and cultivate a sense of community. Leverage outcomes to support the sales team’s land and expand goals. 
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team on initiatives that drive brand awareness and product trial – this may include content for partner portals, co-hosted events, and PR.
  • Develop programs with the Restaurant Sales and Operations teams to build loyalty and ambassadorship among restaurant partners. 
  • Liaise with Feeding America  and City Harvest to develop content, programs, and events that enable our customers and partners to connect with our mission to combat food insecurity. 
  • Create customer advisory councils and customer-centric events (virtual and in-person) to cultivate community.
  • Own customer appreciation strategy including swag and commemorative communications (anniversaries, birthdays, partnership milestones).

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: 

  • 5+ years developing and managing multi-channel B2B marketing programs, soup-to-nuts. 
  • 3+ years experience hiring and directly managing agencies and vendors. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Marketing concentration a plus.  
  • Strong passion for creative concepting, writing, and project manager. 
  • Experience creating and managing marketing budgets. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively as part of a remote team. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to succinctly. communicate complex concepts to a broad audience.  
  • Experience with food tech or HR tech is a plus.
