About the role

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help bring Triple Whale, the ecommerce operating system, to DTC brands the world over. You’ll partner with stakeholders from across the organization to shape the product roadmap, working to build and amplify a data-backed narrative that resonates with our customers.

This is a cross-functional role in a fast-growing environment with significant collaboration across marketing, sales, and product. You’ll lead key projects relating to product positioning and messaging, sales enablement, and competitive intelligence. A successful candidate will have experience executing a go-to-market strategy, be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), and possess the ability to drive tangible business results through marketing that marries customer empathy with market insights.

What you’ll do

  • Partner closely with the Director of Lifecycle Marketing and other go-to-market leaders to develop and execute strategic and operational plans driving growth across multiple channels.

  • Lead go-to-market planning and cross-functional implementation for existing and new products or releases, including positioning, packaging, and pricing.

  • Develop product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging to be used in product development and marketing campaigns. Generate customer, market, and competitive insights from research and analytics to develop more effective value props/positioning/messaging and go-to-market strategies.

  • Collaborate with Sales and CS to improve productivity through product knowledge transfer and value-based talk tracks. Develop sales and marketing collateral to inform GTM strategy.

  • Plan, create, and publish consumer-facing content such as one-pagers, blog posts, website copy, and more. Iterate and improve GTM processes.

Skills you’ll need

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in Product Marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or ecommerce

  • Familiarity With: HubSpot, Dovetail, Intercom

  • Storytelling: Natural communicator with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging that drives action. You must be comfortable shaping the way we communicate the product vision to customers.

  • GTM: A proven track record of successfully building and launching GTM campaigns; have participated in audience persona building, with experience crafting copy that resonates with said audience.

  • Organization: Project management skills (pretty self-explanatory?).

  • Critical Thinking:  Ability to think strategically even when mired in ambiguity, with experience distilling broad, complex problems into something digestible and engaging.

  • Empathy: Deep empathy for both cross-functional partners and customers.

  • Self-Direction: Proven self-starter with utter contempt for analysis paralysis.

What makes working at Triple Whale awesome?

  • Great Team: Working with fun, hardworking, nice people who are passionate about what they do
  • Compensation: Competitive salary, benefits, and equity
  • Family Focus: Parental leave and flexibility for families
  • Time Off: Generous PTO. We want you to relax when you need to relax!
  • Healthcare: Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage
