Content Strategy at Vareto

As an early member of our marketing team, you'll play an outsized role in shaping Vareto’s brand voice, messaging, and content strategy. You'll be responsible for understanding both our users' needs as well as broader market opportunities in order to develop an enduring brand and messaging that will shape customer experience. You'll have a big impact on our story, including how and where we tell it. 

This is a remote position based in the US or Canada.

What you'll do:

  • Define, own, and execute the content strategy across all channels.
  • Deeply understand our category and our users (ranging from financial analysts to CFOs and other executives) and how to engage that audience.
  • Develop content (case studies, thought leadership, launch emails, and more) that captivates, informs, delights, and persuades throughout the customer journey.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure all prospect and customer-facing content is consistent with our brand voice.
  • Build the company you want to work at, including shaping company culture.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of content management or related experience; bonus points for working on enterprise SaaS products or having past experience in a finance role.
  • Strong project management skills. You’ve owned a content strategy, including managing a content calendar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re able to synthesize and distill complex concepts into clear, concise messaging that’s easy for target audiences to understand.
  • Knowledge of SEO strategies. You’re able to craft compelling content that takes into consideration SEO opportunities.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. You’re happiest operating in a high-growth startup environment, have a bias for action, and are eager to make an impact.
  • A strong team player. You’re able to effectively and empathetically collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, product, and other departments.
  • Growth mindset and intellectual curiosity. You have willingness to learn, flex into new areas, and continuously improve.
