About the role:
 
The Head of Marketing is the first marketing leadership hire at Parabola! You’ll be responsible for developing and executing on our overall marketing strategy and playbooks working closely with our CEO/Founder and other cross-functional leaders (Sales, Product, and CX). This could include partnering with Product and flexing your product marketing skills through developing new feature launch and expansion plans to partnering with Sales and developing new sales collateral.
 
We’re looking for someone who has or wants to gain experience leading and growing a team in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where we support each other in hitting our goals. If you’ve always wanted to get in on the ground floor of a B2B SaaS startup and scale the Marketing function and team, this is your chance! You will report directly to the CEO/Founder.

What you'll be doing

  • Figuring out and scaling all things marketing at a Series A B2B SaaS startup with proven product market fit
  • Managing all aspects of marketing, effectively setting and meeting department OKRs
  • Defining and aligning on strategy, budget and ideas with CEO, Chief of Staff, and other cross-functional partners
  • Ensuring marketing has the data, technology and processes to measure and manage campaigns efficiently and effectively
  • Managing critical projects through creative and contract processes

What (we think) you'll need to do it

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in B2B Marketing, 3+ years of people management experience
  • Strong cross-functional relationship building skills and ability to mobilize and inspire all Paraboloids around a marketing and brand vision and supporting initiatives
  • Experience developing, testing and executing end-to-end marketing campaigns and related analytics
  • The ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Not afraid to fail in order to find success and have a track record of learning from past mistakes
  • Methodical project management skills and meticulous attention to detail
