Role Overview
OpsLevel is a remote-first, Series A developer tools startup with employees throughout Canada and the US.
We believe demand generation means planning, implementing, and measuring multichannel marketing programs to drive brand awareness, educate our audience, and accelerate inbound revenue. Hopefully you do too!
As part of generating demand, you’ll be responsible for owning a variety of strategic and tactical projects. We're a small team–you'll be the second FT marketer–so everything you do will have an impact! And you'll get to contribute significantly to the foundation of the marketing team, shaping what it looks like in the future.
Today we work in an agile way without a ton of process. You should be very comfortable taking initiative and handling ambiguity–but also knowing when to ask for help!
Ideally, you’re also interested in company building as well. We expect the marketing team to grow substantially in the next 6-9 months, requiring more structure and the creation of scalable systems.

we’ve built a Service Ownership Platform to make it easier for engineering teams to tackle service ownership.
But thanks to the rise of cloud computing and trends like “shift left,” service ownership is only getting more complex. It's never been easier to build software. But it's never been harder to build, scale, and own great software.

Responsibilities–you will:
– Develop a deep understanding of our customers and their use cases by working closely with our CEO and Head of Product Marketing
– Build awareness of OpsLevel among our ICP by developing, executing, measuring, and scaling marketing programs and campaigns
– Own existing paid search, retargeting, email, and social campaigns to create and nurture relationships with our future customers
– Perform market and customer analyses to identify growth drivers, new emerging channels, optimization opportunities, and ways to accelerate growth
Qualifications–you have:
– Must have some experience with top-down sales motions (higher ACVs, longer sales cycles) where growth means getting qualified leads into sales demos
– Experience with demand campaigns that build audience and community (and top of funnel) through content
– Experience with GoogleAds (or similar CPC channel)
– Experience with email marketing tools and tactics
– (Bonus) Experience building and defining a new category
– At least 5 years of total professional experience, preferably with multiple years in growth marketing or demand generation in B2B software
